Yummy kale chips need virtually zero prep and make an awesome salty, crunchy, unprocessed #badassandhealthy appetizer or snack!
Kale Chips Recipe
Ingredients:
Chopped organic kale
Olive oil
Coarse sea salt (I chose Mediterranean sea salt for this)
Directions:
Buy the already chopped organic kale (this is the big timesaver but of course you can also buy whole-leaf kale and chop it yourself!) and spread more than you think you’ll need, as they shrink, on a cookie sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil and help the oil coat the kale by massaging it just a little with your hands.
Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
Preheat the oven to 350 and bake for 20 minutes.
Check on it and if the kale isn’t crunchy yet, add on a few more minutes.
Enjoy your easy, healthy snack!
What are the Health Benefits of Kale?
This super food is high in fiber, antioxidants, calcium, vitamin K, potassium, chlorophyll, vitamin C and iron. Kale supports heart health, bone health and digestion, and may help lower blood glucose levels. Oh, and it also makes you look pretty. High in beta-carotene, which converts to vitamin A, it’s like eating your retinol cream keeping that skin young and smooth ;) That last line sold ya on this kale chips recipe, didn’t it?
